Shivanjali is a leading Non-profit welfare functioning towards Empowering youth evolution. Shivanjali trusts that effervescent, empowered and earnest young people hold the power to change the world to a better place if the latter is enlightened with a guided call to action. The organization works with the young blood who have eager to serve the community for the greater future and it also helps them to ensure their self-development contribute to social change through various campaigns, workshops, training, exploration, and activities.
In 2019, we started an education project, which was focused on distributing food to local schools. The next step in this project was the 'Summer Break Programme 2020', which included various activities such as drama, music, and dance. During the 15-day event, which ended on March 27, 2020, we distributed clothes and meals to over 500 children in 15 local slums. In the following 18 days, around 120 ration kits were distributed in Jhotwara and Vaishali Nagar. These included rice, wheat, moong dal, oil, and soap. As well, we had a team of over 50 volunteers who helped in identify potential donors in India.
Shivanjali Society is the group of the youth of India which influences the betterment of children who are not able to reach the essentialism of Education. To serve such aims for the children, the Shivanjali Society has established Shivanjali Shiksha Center. We also run hunger eradication drives every second Sunday of each month. This drive provides a nutritious meal to needy people that can help to feel their empty belly. Shivanjali focuses on the creation of a healthy mind and a perfect body that will help to decide the future of the country. In addition, during Winter we organize a winter kit donation campaign to donate a kit consisting of essential warm clothes such as a pair of socks, gloves, and one blanket.
